With the Texas Legislative Session underway, left-wing attacks on our values are already gathering strength at the Texas Capitol.
Leftist legislators have formed Texas’ first “LGBTQ Caucus” promising a “transformative” and “strategic” agenda. This includes proposed “sexual orientation and gender identity” laws (SOGI) that would attack people of faith so viciously, we can justifiably describe them as #BanTheBible bills.
#BanTheBible doesn’t have to mean confiscating physical Bibles yet, but it does mean something even worse––stripping Texans’ right to practice biblical teachings out of their lives.
Hiding under the disguise of “sexual orientation and gender identity” (SOGI) language, these bills would create new government power to ban free expression of biblical beliefs, especially it’s teaching on marriage and sexuality. Texans who do not comply would face fines, possible jail time, and other criminal charges. Concerning #BanTheBible bills already filed include (read more details here):

In the Texas Senate: SB 151 by Sen. Rodriguez, SB 154 by Sen. Rodriguez, and SJR 9 by Sen. Rodriguez.
